Impossible to view Social Office Site Template's pages

Hi friends,

I have installed social office 2.0 on liferay-CE-GA2 using the marketplace. I noticed that is impossible to view pages of the "Default Social Office Site". Did I have done something wrong? (see the attach file).

I have the same problem.
Also my installations looks nothing like social office..
I got a "Duplicate role" Exception on installing SO.

I think the SO is mostly a new Theme with extra portlets. To make it look like in the documentation, you have to sometimes add the same portlet more than once and edit the look and its configuration. After about 2 hours, i finally got my SO to look just like in the docs.

The key to getting most of the features of social office to work is to assign the user the role of Social Office User. You need to go to the control panel select each user and assign them this role.

As for access to the Site Template Pages you need to edit the page select edit in your actions menu or click on the name of the page. Once the the administration page opens up you will see, halfway down the page the term configuration and a link to open the site template... you can make changes once that is open.

Hey Brad,

Here you mention that one must assign a Social Office Role to the user through the Control Panel. My problem is that I do not have access to the dashboard, so no access to the control panel. I have exceptions in the logs saying that No Role exists for company id so so Social Office User.

Any ideas how to solve it?

I have access to Control Panel, but i still have the same exception. Have you solved your problem yet?
