Hello,
What I'd like to do is be able to add an alias, of sorts, to the 'Add New' drop down menu of my asset publisher. Right now you can add Web Content, but I'd like to add another item to that list that is simply a piece of Web Content with the tag 'News' automatically applied to it.
I don't need a new portlet or ext-plugin, as the web-content is exactly what I want, but it would be very nice if I could create an item in that drop down menu called "News Article" that was simply a Web Content portlet with the News tag applied by default so that I didn't have to go apply it every time.
Is there an easy way to do this without creating a huge new plugin, hook or portlet? I don't want to modify a current portlet, but rather create a clickable template that opens a web content object with the tag field already populated.
