theme has shifted position (SOLVED)

Hi, I created this theme using classic and sdk. It was working until I added footer graphic. Now everything displayed has shifted up. I've included screen shots in the hopes that one of the experienced developers would point out how easy this would be to fix :-).

Everything was modified in custom.css file. As you can see from screen shots, 'sign in' has moved almost off page and 'Powered by Liferay' has moved up. Also the portlets are not staying within the wrapper content area. I hope I'm not asking too much for advice.

That first screen shot should say 'shifted'. Am I bad? Ofcourse it could be correct too.

I really should flag this post for sexual content. :-)

Make sure that you're not using the same css class name and overwriting the settings. Duplicate css class name doesn't give error messages but it messes up the page layout.
