Portal Instances Liferay 6.1

Hi All,

I have problem on add new portal instances on Liferay Portal 6.1
Where is it, i can't found portal instance on Cpanel menu.

Are you logged in as Portal Administrator?

It's there as always been. Search "Portal Instances"

Hi, how many instances can add in liferay 6.1? it is a limit for instances? can liferay support 100 instances ?...thank you

Logically it can but you'll have to check if there's no server and network performance problem if portal instance traffic is high. Memory consideration should also be considered if you'll running many portlets or memory intensive portlet.

Note that you can only add new instances (and access the "Server" section in Control Panel) from the main, first, instance. All of the other instances don't have access to the "Server" section.

thank you very much for your response ! i aapreciate this!i have One moore question. i use Liferay 6.1 GA 2 and contacts portlet from social office is in conflict with ''add friends'' sistem. if i remove contacts portlets ''add friends request'' works good, also not works. How can i repair this ? Can you help me? thank you in advance!
