Role for looking at user details of global search result?

Hi,

When using the global search I'm getting also users in the search result that match my query.

But when I click on their names I keep getting "You do not have the roles required to access this portlet."

Even when using an administrator user!

Any ideas?

Hi Joeri De Haes,

Can you try following steps.
1.Create one role of type Regular.
2.Add permission for this roles as Portal >> Users View

Give this role to each users.

This might work.

Hello Joeri De Haes,

I've checked your issue, its showing all users from Directory Portlet,

Add Directory Portlet on that Page and try to search users from search portlet, After clicking on any of the users definitely It will show details for the User

I also cant understand this kind of behavior why after adding directory portlet Its displaying user details, It seems a bug
