Mail Configuration setting in liferay 6.0.6

Hi All.
Is it bug or I am missing something. First time if I set mail configuration through control panel then it is running perfectly but if I try to override through portal-ext.properties it is not updating it. Any idea on it ??

Hi KK.
Wheh you set properties from Control Panel, it stores in Database in PortletPreferences table.
Hence when you try to override it from portal-ext.proeprties, it does not update in database.
So to override, find in the table, remove the row containing the property and restart the server to bring the properties from portal-ext.propeties in effect.

Hi Kamal sir,
I've also faced the same issue.
It came due to improper deployment of ext, where I set the mail config in portal-ext.properties file.
Just do a manual clean before deployment of ext. That worked for me...
