Certificate Based LDAP Authentication

Hi,

I am attempting to stand up an instance of Liferay that will authenticate users with our CAS server and then pull attributes from our LDAP server. I have the CAS authentication piece working so my next step is to pull the person's attributes from our LDAP server. Is certificate base authentication from Liferay to an openldap server possible?

Hi! Is there any news on this subject?
I only found a suggested GSoC project for 2012, so I guess certificate based login is not yet an existing Liferay feature.
