Hello everyone,

I want to know how we can Print the content of the portlet to the PDF. I have a button called save in my Portlet which makes the user to save the content of the POrtlet ( which is inturn JSP end ) as a PDF and this this Portlet is a dynamic one.

In this Link -- http://www.liferay.com/community/wiki/-/wiki/Main/Generate+PDF+File+in+Portlet , they have discussed about showing a STATIC one . I want to read the dynamic contents in the JSP and show them into the PDF.

I dont have example specific to your scenario..

Bt if you can do some googling you will defiantly get some idea to implement ..

First of all you need ireport to prepare jrxml ..which will be basically for layout of your PDF.
and using this Jrxml and jasper report api you can generate your PDF easily.
