Site Member Role in liferay

How to assign site member role ? I assigned a member to a site but no record got inserted in usergrouprole table. What are the permissions of site member by default??

As per DXP, any user who becomes member of a site, get Site member role automatically to access private pages of site.

Site Member: All users who belong to a site have this role within that site.

You will not find entry for Site Member role into UserGroupRole table. Find all users under the site using users_groups, those will be site members.
