faild execute liferay workspace init command. liferay 6.2 to liferay 7

Hi, im trying to migrate Liferay 6.2 GA4 to Liferay 7
Im using the code upgrade tool...
When i try to import the projects, i get the error "faild execute liferay workspace init command" (they probably ment "failed" tho haha)
I read in another post that this is an internet conection error, but i do have an internet conection... how can i fix this and go to fixing my 6.2 code?

i didnt do anything, tried the same thing a few days later and it worked.. dont really know what happened

Hey Juan,

You can use the new version of Liferay IDE 3.1m3.
It will solve your problem. This is mainly caused by the old url is unavailable in sourceforge. So we changed it in the new version of Liferay IDE.

Hi Joye,

I have upgraded my Liferay IDE to "-3.1.0-b1" version. But despite of this I get a "faild execute liferay workspace init command" error when I try to Upgrade to Liferay Workspace.

However, Upgrade to Liferay 7 Plugin SDK works well.

Can you please help me understand why the Workspace upgrade is not happening?

I tried with Liferay IDE 3.1.0.201705141336-b1. There is no problem in my side.

Following are my enviroment:
Liferay IDE: Liferay IDE 3.1.0.201705141336-b1
Java: Java 8
SDK: liferay-plugins-sdk-6.2-ce-ga6-20160112152609836.zip
So can u provide me more information about it. ( Error log or Sample project )

And u can also try it in console.
1. install liferay blade cli
2. run "blade init -u" command

I have been encountering the issue reported here in recent days. My configuration being the following:

IDE Liferay Developer Studio Version: 3.1.2.201709011126-ga3

Java 1.8.0_144

SDK liferay-portal-6.2-ee-sp2 and liferay-portal-6.2-ce-ga6

When I do as advised on this post and run a blade init -u command for the project I get an error consistent with that reported from the Code Upgrade Tool

0. [WindowsException.translateToIOException] java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException: C:\Liferay\migrate1 - Copy - Copy - Copy\plugins-sdk\.svn\pristine\00\0009421455a2b2d8bb73fbda779353382255e2f3.svn-base

Might you have any further suggestions re how I might resolve this issue in my environment?

Hello Niall,

You can try with the latest Liferay IDE 3.2M1.

Also you can also install the latest blade cli to run blade init -u command.

I updated both blade-cli and my IDE and I have been able to complete the Liferay code upgrade tool process.

I very much appreciate your help on this.
