Bring back assignment of regular roles to user groups

I cannot find the actions to assign a portal-level regular role to a user group (as was possible in LR 6.2).
Maybe i missed it, so I asked how to assign a regular role to a user group nearly half a year ago, but as of today nobody did answer that question.
So i guess this feature was accidentally "broken" in LR7?

It would be good to have it back soon.

The feature has always been in 7.0. When you're on the "Add Assignees to Role" page, you need to select the "User Groups" tab.

May you -after all- tell me where to find this "Add Assignees to Role"-option, please?... Because as you may see in the screenshot attached, it's not where it was before... and i searched in roles and groups...

I did
Click on the role name.
Click on the "Add Assignees " button (i.e., the plus button)
Click on the "User Groups" tab
but role is not reflecting to usergroup members.......
Any anthoer way is there ?????

After step 3, did you check the checkboxes next to the name of the user group that you wanted to add? And did you click the "Add" button after that?

Also, what do you mean by "is not reflecting to usergroup members"?

Iam able assign role to usrer group,but still that user group members(users) are like guest only(after login as a user not showing roles means applications,navigation menu).

I can't reproduce in 7.0 GA3. If the users "are like guest", then that means they're not even signed in. So you should check if that's the issue. When you say "user not showing roles", where are you checking this?

I assigned role to user group ,
Role Name (Role1){I created regular role this role people can add some applications only}
Group Name:Group1
Group1 have three users
1.User1
2.User2
3.User3
Whenever i assign role to user group.That users not see or add application to portal
