Liferay 7 portal-ext.properties

Hi,

In Liferay 7 version, I need to put this property terms.of.use.required=false in portal-ext.properties. My question is where should I put portal-ext.properties file so that It get reflect in server.

I've noticed that for a Liferay with Tomcat that putting it in ${liferay.home}/tomcat*/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes seems to work.

Thanks for the response.
But I need not to put directly on server. I want something like I can put portal-ext.properties in modules and once deployed, It should get reflect on server.

Hi Syed,

There is no need of putting it in a module as the portal-ext.properties file can be used for assigning the properties globally by which it will get affected for the whole liferay portal.

In liferay 6.2, we were putting portal-ext.properties in hook or ext. Likewise, where I have to put in liferay 7?

Hi Nasar,

Place the portal-ext file in ${liferay.home}/ directory for Liferay 7.Iit should works fine.
