Solr 6 integration with liferay 6.1

Hi,

We are using liferay-portal-tomcat-6.1.0-ce-ga1 with RHEL 6.0. and solr 1.4.0 is integrated with our version.
I want to integrate latest SOLR (solr 6) )search engine with our liferay environment.

Kindly confirm solr 6 will is support or not with liferay 6.1

Are you using the solr-web-6.1.0.1-ce-ga1-20120106155615760.war plugin? I haven't tried, but I doubt this plugin will work with Solr 6. If you want to use Solr 6, you'll probably need to write your own Solr search adapter.

yes,i am using solr-web-6.1.0.1-ce-ga1-20120106155615760,but tis plugin is not working with solr 6.Can u provide any specific solution to use it.

I want to integrate latest SOLR (solr 5.4.0) )search engine with our liferay environment.

Kindly confirm solr 5 will is support or not with liferay 6.2

I have integrated with Solr 4.9 .I think liferay CE is supported til 4.x solr version

Sorry, I can't offer anything specific since I haven't done this. But I would suggest taking a look at the Solr plugin's source code and changing the code as necessary to work with Solr 6's API.
