Decrease image height and width while uploading large size images

Hi All,

Currently i have a requirement wherein i have to upload large size images.
I need to compress those images while uploading.
Decrease width and height and save to Data base while uploading.
Using Liferay 5.2.3 version.

Kindly let me know is there any option to do this.
