Liferay User Hierarchy

Hello,
I've been trying to create an organisation chart for my company, and I face this issue of having to declare user hierarchy.
What I'm failing to understand is, does Liferay allow User->User Hierarchy, within an organisation?
To elucidate, I'll take an example.
xyz firm (has) -> CEO/ VPs/et cetera (under them are) -> Managers (under Managers - work) -> Developers.
Now, I've been successful in creating an organisation, adding users to thereon, assigning roles to those users, but what I've failed to achieve - repeatedly - is chalking up an orgainsation structure showing how 'a' employee works for 'm' manager.
I'd be glad if anyone of you Liferay Pundits can provide me with a solution for my problem.

No, users do not form into hierarchies. There's no built in way to indicate Tom works for Barbara.
To build that kind of hierarchy, you'd have to build that out yourself.
Come meet me at the NAS!
