New Email Template

Hello,

I developed a new portlet in order to customize the registration of my portal.
In my new process I am sending two Email.
- the normal welcome Email from liferay (with generated password)
- and after first login a second email, with attachement and more explication.

I would like to be able as admin to set the content of this second email in the control panel (like the normal welcome email from liferay).

What is the best solution in order to do this?

I thought to customize the CompanyLocalService in order to add a new section in "Control Panel --> Settings --> Email notification". But I don't really understand how and where are the different content stored? (They are read the first time through the portal.properties but than...?)

Is there another solution?
