Remove favicon from browser tab

Hi All,

I am trying to remove favicon from tab

Currently we are showing custom favicon but we are decided to no image for favicon, from my custom theme I removed reference for my custom favicon, now custom favicon no more appear from browser.
But problem here is still showing default liferay favicon from browser.

I am unable to find where is the reference for default favicon
can any one help me out.

I'm not sure how we fall back to the default one, but I think, the easiest way is to have a custom favicon as a transparent png file, so it wouldn't be rendered because of transparency.

make your custome file name is favicon and place the favicon.ico file in the images folder. automatically it will take. otherwise you can have one include in the portal vm file that is headertop in the head section go to that file and change to your file name.
