Read database by service layer

Hi all,

I have created one portlet in plugin environment and created service layer also. I am reading one table and displaying the data in my portlet. But the problem is that when I am updating the table, the changes are not reflecting in my portlet. I can see the changes only after restarting my tomcat server. Kindly help..................
