Liferay and Jive integration

Hi ,

I wanted to know if liferay and Jive integration is possible?
We need 2 way communication as in threads from Jive should be visible in liferay and vice-versa.

Any inputs will be helpful.

Is it possible? Yes. Will it be simple? Probably not... It depends on

• API accessibility of Jive
• Overlap of users on both sides - is there a common set of users? 100% identical or just partly overlapping?
• Appearance - do you want to make 100% of features of one side available on the other side?
• different assumptions (e.g. is HTML markup allowed on either side? The same subset?)
• and many more

Any idea if Jive exposes webservice ?

Is there any road block which is pre-sensed?Can we do this one way,just exposing Jive content in liferay ??
