reports and demo portlet is not geting crted in add aplication catogary....

Hi all,
i have created extension enviourment and run both build.xml of portal and ext enviourment and that geting deployed properly with giving me a build succeful message but still reports or demo portlet is not geting created in sample catoory of my application and while start up i am geting an error which i have attaching so can anybody please help me out...

are you trying to create demo portlet using EXT? If yes, then I would recommened you to use plugin SDK and not EXT for portlet development.

I am using ext enviourment can u just tell me what is the diffrence between creating ext and using sdk? and why shount i use ext enviourment

Hi,

Extension environment is used to extend or override liferay without modifying the portal source whereas plugins sdk is used to create new portlets,layouts,themes,hooks,etc
