I have a couple of questions about Alloy UI

1) What does IceFaces do that Alloy UI cannot?

2) What is the learning curve for Alloy UI?

3) What are the disadvantages of adopting Alloy UI?

this is my personal answers of your posted questions:

1- icefaces have many widgets that AUI dont,
examples: datatable (YUI table component name)...

2- i dont know... but the aim of AUI is making easy ria
development

3- AUI isnt complete about functionalities and documentation, you have
to learn so much for using the widgets, plus, AUI is based on YUI3, and
it implies you have to learn YUI3 too
