How do I install a hook?

I have created a hook with Netbeans and runs fine in Netbeans with a Liferay bunddle. The problem is that when i try to install it in Liferay in Control Panel-Pluggind Installation the Hooks Pluggins tab is totally blank; there is no way to upload the war file. Can i ulpload it as a portlet?

One little trick, you can upload it as a theme plugin.

I think that the hook uploader is not ready in the 5.2.3 version as I have a blank screen too.
