integrating liferay with CAS

hi all,

I have searched through the years of archive post on CAS. but still cant get mine to work with it. i'm totally brand new to liferay it no doubt rocks. but i have to get this integrated with CAS. (hopefully CAS + moodle too later on)

ok what I have done is to follow the instructions on wiki

and it was indeed very useful. now everything works as it supposed to until the part where the CAS returns a ticket back to Liferay. it just gets stuck at the part when CAS returns a sucessful ticket.

i am running CAS demo, (which authenticates any username with same password to be valid). for e.g. viki:viki and i have also created a smilar user account with the name viki in liferay user database. but despite this, i cant get past the authentication redirect from CAS. It redirects to CAS logon when i click sign-in and the same for logout (redirection to logoff page)

It would be great if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong in this.
