Liferay Portlet to manage reporting with XDocReport?

Hi Liferay users,
At first I introduce to me, I'm Angelo ZERR, one of lead of XDocReport project. The goal of this project is to create a (simple) report with MS Word (docx) or OpenOffice (odt) by using Velocity/Freemarker syntax to generate report (docx->docx or odt->odt) and convert it if you wish to PDF or HTML.
Compare to other famous reporting engine (JasperReport, Birt, etc), XDocReport provides the capability to create your report with MS Word or OpenOffice (so anybody can create her report even if you are not a developer). It's not a concurrent to Jasper, Birt, because her goal is to manage simple reporting (for instance to generate bill report, resume report, etc and not diagram report). XDocReport provides several support like WebApp with Servlet, Struts2 (result), Nuxeo, OSGi, Play!, GAE, JBoss Seam Report and I tell me if it could be interesting to provide support for Liferay Portlet.
