Liferay 6.1.1 CE GA3 release ?

Hi,

We are almost ready to publish a commercial app on the MarketPlace, with a free "preview" version.

But we badly need a Liferay 6.1.1 CE GA3 version, with LPS-32137 resolved (and preferably LPS-29103), to let the preview version work. Do you think that this Liferay 6.1.1 CE GA3 version will be released anytime soon ?

We hope that its release date will be before the August 15th, so we can be part of the MarketPlace App Context.

Hey Philippe,

It would not be fair if Liferay bugs prevented one from entering the contest - so there is a provision in the rules (section 4) that says that apps don't actually have to be "approved" for Marketplace distribution in order to be eligible for the contest. So, if your app also works with some earlier version of Liferay (e.g. 6.1.0), then that is also acceptable for the purposes of entering the contest! But be sure to note this in your entry.

And yeah, both of those bugs are fixed in the upcoming 6.1 CE GA3, but Liferay has not set an official release date.
