Hi,

You have to add oracle configuration in portal-ext.properties file as

#
# Oracle
#
jdbc.default.driverClassName=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
jdbc.default.url=jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:xe
jdbc.default.username=lportal
jdbc.default.password=lportal

Keep "License-portaldevelpment-developer-6.xml" inside your deploy folder(Path: c:\liferay-developer-studio\liferay-portal-6.x\-ce-ga1\deploy).

Hi Pranoti Nandurkar, thank you for your contribution, but I've another question, where I put the ojdbc.jar file? I'm new in liferay and I'm researching for propose liferay as we portal's platform at work, we used Oracle and they don't want to change to other system.

If you are on Tomcat, then put it in lib/ext, if not, please see your application server's documentation about where to put the jdbc driver archives.

I am new to Liferay CE.
Actually I am using Liferay 6.2 CE GA4 and want to change default database to Oracle 12c.
Can anyone please tell the steps involved to change DB.
