Hi All,
Is there any portlet for vertical menu. I need vertical menu on left hand side of the page. please help me...

Hello,

You can use the navigation portlet.
click on the wrench and configuration to have a vertical presentation.

I have tried navigation portlet, By default it is showing the links Home and Forum which is there on the menu bar. But i want other options which are not there on the menu bar. can you please tell me how to do this?

You can add the pages with Hidden option then links you can see in navigation portlet.

Hi evans notcker,

If you want Vertical menu , you can use web content display portlet , As SANGEETHA Said earlier like that create some hidden pages( if you want Sub pages) and than you can use that page URL to navigate that particular page or Sub page.

I created a left menu bar using web content display,but here how i would like to give link(i.e if i click on home my home portlet page will open in right side of page)
i m using 6.2 version,if u knw how to do please suggest me

Hi,

Create a custom theme, edit the navigation.vm(Give ur menu items and friendly url) file of template folder.

Use CSS and place your navigation on Left handside as vertical menu.

Entries or text in the left hand side vertical menu will point to pages ?
Let say left hand side menu has three entries A, B and C. If you click on A, it goes to A and similar for B and C.
Is this the requirement ?

We can do with navigation portlet as well as webcontent also, better can do with webcontent.
