Hello,
I wont to costumize Message Boards Portlet.
Can we integrate the source code of Message Boards Portlet in Eclipse ?
there is .war file for this portlet to download?

Hi,

Customize of Message Boards Portlet is possible either thru ext or hook and you can also set liferay source as project in eclipse.

actually I try to create a hook for the message boards portlet,but when I import the html / portlet / message_boards*. jsp I have several errors, I think we should import all related pages... I'm new in the use of hook, Someone can tell me how to deploy the hook in spite of errors?, is there a way correcting without importing the entire html folder?

Hi,

No need to include all the jsp in your hook. Hook is nice feature in liferay which you can use to modify your existing portlet.

Suppose you want to change only one file of message board portlet then copy only that file and keep it in your hook folder.

The Message Boards portlet is part of liferay core and not available in .war format. However, the portlet is customizable using various hooks depending on what your requirements are.
