Liferay.com site very slow

Liferay.com site seems very slow today. Number of online friends is extremely high too. Just wondering if there is something going on.

Something was. Seems nice and crisp now, was unbearably slow yesterday evening. IPv6 going live?

It seems more then usual number of users are logged on to the site.
Is there some liferay event going on? I was having problem posting to the site. Displaying the page was taking several minutes.

May be something to that theory, 0 online friends now and very responsive.

Maybe for you, but it is still slower than Tuesday, 6/5. Yesterday was unbearably slow, today is only moderately better.

I was wondering if maybe it was just me, but I guess it's not...

Did they upgrade to 6.1 EE?

How odd, I get sub 2-3 second load time refreshing this page right now, was about 8- just times out for me 24 hours ago. Maybe it's a slow node in a cluster, might try nuking your cache, closing/opening browser and reconnecting to see if you get lucky.

It's not you Yesterday we experienced some "network difficulties" in our facility that serves liferay.com. Should be back to normal today, or getting close to it.

Seems like I replied too soon. Online Friends is back to normal but the network is still very very slow once again.

Sorry about that. Deleted the two messages. I was getting error page when I posted.
I'm getting timeout error most of the time now when I post and viewing is a little bit bumpy.

Could be just my breath or deodorant failing but it seems kind of odd I have seen no online friends this morning.

Linus, it just wasn't me but my co-workers as well. I'm getting my usual count of Online Friends so things seems to back to normal for me.
