Want to create Video Library Engine in Liferay

Hi all,

I want to develop one Video Library Engine in Liferay. Something similar to Video Library.

I know the portlet which has been interact with Youtube, FLV etc.

But I want to create list of video file(flv or some other formats) same like the above image. Once I click anyone of video in the list then it should play in another page.

Any help from Liferay experts?

i m not a Liferay Expert but i like your idea, i will be a member if this idea tunr into a project, this can be a community project so that all liferay users will use it.

Hi Mani,

The feature is available in LR 6.1 - document library (Video - document type).

You may leverage the same.

L R 6.1 not official released i think so. I downloaded the nighty build version here Liferay 6.1.

But in this nighty build the document Library portlet is not working properly, its getting many errors. I can't able to use it.

Is there any good download link for LR 6.1? or Is there any other idea for achieve this Video Liferay Engine feature available?

Any help?

Hi Mani,

You should be able to get stable version 6.1 next week (WCS 2011).
