Introduction #
This article describes the blogs portlet. This portlet allows you to run your own Blogs service. Every user can write his/her own entries. If the portlet is displayed in a personal page it will only show the user posts, but if it is displayed in a page of a community/organization it will show portlets from most of them.
From Liferay 5.2 blog entries can also be written from the Control Panel.

All the look and feel of this portlet can be changed in the theme. The configuration view of this portlet allows us to change the number of posts to show by default or the number of posts to export by RSS.
