Liferay DXP Session Timing

Hi All,
I am using the Liferay DXP , in that If I want to keep the user session time of 12 hours . Did 12 hours session may impact the portal performance or not , secondly if there is no impact on performance then , how can I achieve the user 12 hours session .

The problem with this is when users do not log out. With a 12 hour session, the app server is going to have lots of wasted resources out there bound up in sessions that will never expire.

So basically my response is "don't do this". I believe you're thinking about this per your other post about extending the liferay session from a react-based SPA. Follow my guidance there, but do not do this.
