Publishing to Live leads to unresponsive Frontend

Hi,

We are using Liferay 6.2.10 EE GA1 with Fix Pack 61 and experience problems when making a full publish from staging to live.
Everything runs fine on the staging server but after a while the CPU on the live frontend server will go up to 80% and the website gets unresponsive (timeout in the browser)

A Dynatrace CPU-Sample shows that the method com.liferay.portal.lar.PortletExporter.exportPortlet(...) in thread "liferay/background_task-1" is using all of this CPU. I'm not the developer of this, just the performance guy. Can you give me any hint what the problem could be. I guess it is normal that this exportPortlet is called to have a backup of the old state.

Sorry for bumping this thread.
But does nobody have any further information on the publishing process and if it is normal that the exporter uses the most amount of cpu time?
