Customize admin theme in liferay 7

Can anyone elaborate that exact use of themelet in liferay 7 ?

Hi deep,

Themelets are reusable components that can be included in theme which contains css ,java script and templates code fragments that can would reusable across the application.

Thanks for your reply,
now another question is :- can I extends liferay's default theme/admintheme/classic theme using themelet as I want to just change class property in css ?
if not than How can I extends liferay's default theme ?
