Migrate data to new install

Good Morning

We have been using Liferay 6.2 for around 12 months and absolutely love it.

Recently i set up a completely new server and configured Liferay 7 to run on it. I have been playing / testing and would like to try to move some of our production data from 6.2 onto it (without recreating from scratch).

Firstly, is it possible?
Secondly, how?

Both setups use PostGreSQL 9.5

You can't move data between versions.

You can, however, clone the 6.2 database and then perform an upgrade to get it to LR7.
