How do I Customize the "Abstract" display style for Blog aggregator portlet

I would like to customize 2 options with the "Blogs Aggregator" and have been unable to find the answers.

First, is to display the image with the "Abstract" display style, and I would also like to display twice as much content as shown by default. Currently Abstract displays the first 30 words in a blog, how do I change it to display the first 60?
