Error installing Liferay IDE

When I try to install the Liferay IDE I get the following error:

1)What version eclipse you used?
2)Can you try to install IDE 3.0.1 milestone version(http://releases.liferay.com/tools/ide/latest/milestone/) ?

Having the same issue. Trying to install Liferay IDE on Eclipse Indigo JavaEE following this tutorial: Liferay IDE Installation Guide - Wiki

Have tried installing from this URL: http://releases.liferay.com/tools/ide/latest/stable/ as well as downloading the update zip file and installing from the archive. Neither worked.

Installing from the URL generates this error: "Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. ... "

Installing from the archive says there's something wrong with the file extensions...

The latest stable version of Liferay IDE requires Eclipse Mars or Neon. It doesn't work with previous versions. Thanks.
