I want to install my Liferay6.1 CE application in the Live system. what security measure I need to take.
Please let me know what is best practices.
The most important one: Upgrade to a version that still gets security updates (that would be 6.2 EE, 7.0 CE or DXP).
And apart from the usual measurements: Test&Codereview your application, know your appserver & database, check my blog series (
chapter 1 here) and read the documentation. You might want to check out System Administration Training (
https://liferay.com/training) as well.
But start with an upgrade.
