Need Informationi on Customization of themes

Hi All,

I had a requirement like, the portal page should be displayed in two columns. The left side(25%) should consist of portlet buttons and right should be the content.Wheneer a user clicks a specific button releated to a portlet, that portlet should be displayed on the right side of the same page.

Similar to yahoo.com.

Can anyone give some clue on how to achieve this.

Hi Arun,

I don't think for this you need to customize your theme.

Have a look at 'Panel' type,when you create any page.It will give you desired output.
On left column it will display list of portlets that you have selected from panel and by clicking on any portlet it will open that portlet in right column
