Uses of project template's

Hi all,
while creating new liferay module,
in project template i am getting following templates,

activator
contenttargetingreport
contenttargetingrule
contenttargetingtrackingaction
controlmenuentry
mvcportlet
panelapp
portlet
portletprovider
service
servicebuilder
servicewrapper

at what time which template i need to choose.?
please give some description about each template,

• activator - an OSGi bundle activator to invoke code as bundles are started in the OSGi container.
• contenttargeting* - These are templates for modules for audience targeting.
• controlmenuentry - Module template for adding custom control menu items.
• mvcportlet - The classic Liferay MVC portlet template.
• panelapp - I believe this is a control panel template.
• portlet - A vanilla portlet template.
• service - A DS service component template.
• servicebuilder - The ServiceBuilder project template.
• servicewrapper - A SB service wrapper template.
