Reg : Permissions Setting in liferay

Hi ,
We need help on permissions setting of liferay.

We have requirement such that only few of site members (may be in particular role) should be able to Add new documents.
When i drag & drop Document & media portlet in site , all my site members are getting Add button .

Please let me know if this can be overcome by some setting out the box.
All Site members should be able to View Document & media porlets but only few should get the Add button.
