Hi,
How much effort is it to implement/integrate link checker in Liferay?

There's links in Document Library, Image Library, Web Content, Asset Publisher, etc.
It may be easier to check url links in the generated web pages, but you'll have to give your link checker administrative server permission
to view every page.

Thanks Hitoshi,
We do have custom entities as well. Those are also accessible through links (same as document, web content).
Providing 'administrative permission' should not be a problem.
But I was looking for rough ideas on effort required, if any one had already integrated/implemented any link checker tool/interface with liferay. So it's like can I get this functionality with simple integration of any available link checker tool OR do I need to implement one?

I haven't used it yet, but I'm checking if I can use the following open source checker. The system I'm looking on using just
have web contents for internal use.

BTW, wiki has "Orphan Page" to check links between wiki pages.

Great ! I think broken links are still important for SEO but also for the user knowledge, I extreme dislike when I’m looking for something and I think I found it only to find a broken link that had the content I was looking for. Click here - broken link validator.
