How to create Custom portlet to trigger workflow after form submission.

Hi Guys..

I am looking for a way to trigger workflow from portlet on form submission by user.Is there any way to do so.
Kindly give me some suggestion.I would be thankful to you.

Portlets don't do anything for workflow, the entity and SB layer does.

You add workflow-specific fields (i.e. status) and then layer in the workflow logic into SB. You can find examples for this in Liferay's own SB layer to help add a workflow task.
