(Liferay 5.2) You do not have the roles required to access this portlet.

I created a community.

I assigned a user to the community
then assigned that user to the role "community admin". (I also assigned this user as "community owner")

When signed in as this user

• I go to set the layout and I get a blank page.
• When I go to add applications, I get a blank page.
• I dont see any logging so its hard to find the issue.

Noting that I do however see the correct links in the top right drop down (e.g. toggle, manage pages, layout)

Any help?

Did you by chance remove the Power User role from this user?
