Whats with all the religious widgets in Liferay?

I'm kindof surprised why there is a ton of christian based religious widgets in Liferay? What is the reasoning (short of going into a religious debate) for this? As it is specifically for christianity.

How do I get rid of all these useless widgets? So I can make my liferay install cleaner and focused with items that suit my users?

I suspect it's because one of their big 'reference accounts' is a nonprofit group called WorldVision.

We've had another thread about how inappropriate this is in a business environment, particularly because of the HR/legal issues involved in forcing employees to deal with anything even pseudo-religious that they find offensive. You're not the only one with issues in this area.

I think they have all been removed now. Check fisheye tab to see how they were removed.
