Did anyone try to run Liferay in 3 physically different machines?<br /><br />One running Tomcat for the Presentation Layer, JBoss for running the EJB side, and One for the database instead of using JBoss+Tomcat to run Liferay Portal Server and a database machine.<br /><br />

There are many ways to go about doing this...<br /><br />I'm not sure about the EJB/Tomcat, but the Database and Application Server is very possible.<br /><br />Also, I would suggest looking into Gossip Server (another load balance or alternative...) or Round Robin.
