reading list of pages

I can use c/journal/get_articles command to get the list of articles in XML format, and then - for instance - process it in my custom template. Does there exist any similar standard mechanism to get the list of pages (navigation entries) in XML format? It would be useful to have such mechanism to create something like a "related pages" section in my custom template.
