Can't find it for no reason

We are using Liferay as our Intranet. For no reason, when you click on the shortcut for the portal, this message comes up:

" The requested resource (/c/portal/layout) is not available."

The IT department rebooted the server but it still doesn't work. Any idea what is going on?

What do you mean "click on the shortcut for the portal"?

Your intranet suddenly stopped working for no reason? What version of Liferay are you running?
