Inter Wiki Linking between two independend Wikis/nodes

Hey!

I have several wikis/nodes (splitted by departments of a company) and want to link from one Wiki to another. How can I do this?

I tried it by typing:
[[PageOnOtherWiki]]

and
[[NameOfOtherWiki|PageOnOtherWiki]]

but the PageOnOtherWiki (which actually exists) is red and shown as not existent.

I dont want to do it with external linking because then the advantage of automatic page exists/does not exist check up is not longer provided. The link would be blue and underlined whereas the page is not longer existing. Thats not what I want.

I know that if I have different Wikis a linking to another entry in another wiki is actually not necessary or the wrong structure but I just want to know if it's theoretically possible.
