Find creator of a page

How could I find out the creator of a page in DB or in control-panel?

The creator of a page is not recorded in the database. Only way you could track it is by creating an audit event for the page creation and letting the audit portlet to store that information.

Thanks! Question? If it is not recorded, how come it can be retrieved through vm template.

It can't be retrieved via vm template either. Just look at the last comment on the link you provided.
